The Data Controller wishes to inform visitors and users of the web portal https://www.margart.design/ (hereinafter, for brevity, "the Site" or "the Platform") that the personal data collected will be processed in compliance with the legislative and contractual provisions in force and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, the "Regulation" or the "GDPR") and the Privacy Code as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

II. Personal data processed

Navigation data: computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check that it is functioning correctly, and is not, and will not be, used by the Data Controller for profiling activities.

By filling out the contact form with their data, the User consents to their use to respond to requests for information, quotes, or any other type of request indicated by the header of the form.

The e-mail contacts used to send communications from the website come from voluntary registrations on the part of the recipient, as well as from information acquired in the context of the sale of products or services of the Owner or similar. This includes the sending of information, promotional communications and advertising material. In case the communications are not of interest to the addressee, it is possible to avoid any further contact by clicking on the appropriate link contained in each message, or by writing to the contact details below and exercising one's right to cancel the newsletter.
The data voluntarily provided by the user may be acquired and stored by the Data Controller, also in electronic form, for the purposes related to their collection through the Site and the Platform and will not be used for any user profiling activity.
III. Purpose and legal basis
While browsing the site, personal data may be collected in anonymous and aggregate form (so-called technical cookies) exclusively to improve the operation of the site, without any commercial purpose. This data processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Owner for the correct management and maintenance of the website.The User's Personal Identification and Contact Data are freely provided by the User and are processed by the Controller exclusively for the following purposes:
a) to provide the user with the requested service and/or product, to respond to or satisfy a request from the user. The data is acquired by filling in the contact form on the site;

c) to fulfil obligations arising from the law as well as from the contract with the Owner;
d) for the management of any disputes and the protection of the Company's rights;
The legal bases legitimizing the processing are:

the performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract to which the data subject is party or the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.

Where the data controller intends to further process personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were collected, prior to such further processing, it will provide the data subject with information about that other purpose and any further relevant information.
IV. Processing methods
The processing will be carried out, mainly by means of IT tools, by authorised collaborators and employees, who will operate according to the instructions given by the Data Controller, with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data processed.
Specific security measures are adopted in order to reduce to a minimum the risks of destruction or loss, even accidental, of the processed data, unauthorised access, unauthorised processing or processing that does not comply with the purposes indicated in this information notice.
V. Recipients of personal data
The data are processed by the Data Controller and by authorised persons under the responsibility of the Data Controller for the purposes indicated above in compliance with the regulations in force. The data will not be disclosed but, for the purposes indicated above and in accordance with the principles of the Regulation, may be communicated to: employees or collaborators of the Owner, hosting platforms that host the Site, consultants and professionals (in particular, but not limited to: webmaster; accountant) as external managers for the processing of personal data. The Site is hosted on the Wix® hosting platform. The full list of authorised Data Processors can be requested by e-mail from the Data Controller by writing to design@margheritasala.com.
VI. Data transfer to a third country
The data collected by the site is processed at the web hosting datacenter located both within the European Union and on sites outside the European Community where the servers on which Wix.com relies are located. Wix.com web hosting has provided the Data Controller with adequate safeguards regarding the processing and transfer of data in accordance with Art 46 paragraph 2C of the GDPR and has been appointed as the Data Controller, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
The management and storage of personal data will take place on servers located both within the European Union and on sites outside the European Community where the servers on which Wix.com Ltd. (the platform hosting the site www.margart.design/ - see the relevant Privacy Policy) is based are located. The transfer of data to non-EU sites will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions by entering into agreements, if necessary, that guarantee an adequate level of protection and/or by adopting the standard contractual clauses provided by the European Commission.
VII. Data storage
The data processed will be kept for a period of time not exceeding that necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed and, in particular:

Data provided by sending e-mail messages or filling in contact forms on the site will be kept for the time necessary to provide feedback;

Data provided for purposes related to the legitimate interest of the Controller shall be retained until such interest is satisfied. The Data Subject may obtain further information on the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Controller.

- As a general rule, we will retain the data collected for marketing purposes until the data subject's consent is revoked and/or request for cancellation of the data. The data subject has the possibility to revoke his/her consent to the processing of data for marketing purposes by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link on all communications sent by the Owner or by sending an email with the subject "unsubscribe from newsletter" to design@margheritasala.com.
Personal Data for which storage is not necessary or for which storage is not required by law will be deleted or encrypted or made anonymous.
VIII. Profiling
The owner does not use automated processes for profiling purposes.
IX. Cookies and similar technologies
While browsing the site, technical information relating to the hardware and software used by visitors may be collected. This information does not provide personal data from the person concerned, but only data of a technical/computer nature that is used in an aggregate and anonymous manner for the sole purpose of improving the quality of the service and providing statistics regarding the use of the Site. The User may exercise the following rights at any time:
right of access to personal data, Art. 15 GDPR;
right to obtain rectification of data, Art. 16 GDPR;
right to erasure of data (right to be forgotten), Art. 17 GDPR;
right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR;
right to object to processing at any time, Art. 21 GDPR;
the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority if you believe that Personal Data have been processed unlawfully.
