Inspiration

The Contemporary Alabaster collection is inspired by alabaster for its particular veining and transparencies, which can be found on the Lagenaria dried gourd.

The idea is to renew the resources of our tradition through contemporary designs capable of using even the most up-to-date technological possibilities without distorting the material and technical values that have been preserved until today. 

Alabaster's ability to evoke archetypal values lies in its material properties, enhanced by the transparencies and colours of its veins, which are repeated in a contemporary way on the Lagenaria dry gourd.

Like alabaster, Lagenaria can take on different transparencies and colours depending on its degree of purity.
